The Columbus Trophy

Remembering the accomplishments of GCHS Goldsand’s Columbus (Bosse) and what he meant to a newly recognized AKC breed — The Columbus Trophy was established by Mark and Laurie Ulrich to honor the Best of Breed winner at the American Russell Terrier Club’s national specialty show.

This year’s Best of Breed winner CH Brotherhood Of Jack's Yanko A Ne Stanko will have their name included on the trophy along with every ARTC National Specialty winner going forward from the first national held as a recognized AKC breed in 2014.

Held in perpetuity by the ARTC. If the Columbus Trophy is won 3 times at the ARTC National specialty by the same dog whose owner(s) are all the same for the 3 wins and are also ARTC members in good standing for the 3 wins — a resin cast replicas of the trophy will be provided by the ARTC to the primary owner to recognize the accomplishments of the winning dog.
